. . .Probably the Web's largest resource
for euthanasia
information and informed comment.
|
Welcome
to Fast Access - probably the world's largest resource of original
material on voluntary euthanasia, assisted suicide,
self-deliverance,
living wills (advance declarations to
enable you to refuse unwanted life-prolonging treatment) and related death
and dying subject matter.
This site contains hundreds of pages of material explaining the arguments for and against euthanasia. It is promoted by Exit (formerly the Scottish Voluntary Euthanasia Society), which campaigns for a change in British law to promote individual patient choice, and strategies for improved palliative care and other resources at the end of life. You can also find details of the most authoritative works on self-deliverance, including Departing Drugs, Beyond Final Exit, and Five Last Acts. Exit is a world leader in research and euthanasia-related information. We run with minimal resources and are only able to continue by means of legacies, donations and memberships. If you support our aims, please consider supporting us. There are many v.e. campaign groups. Yet only the Scottish
society offers all these:
NEWS . . . After that, it will be available through bookshops and various other online outlets. Over 400 pages Over 40 illustrations Over 450 key references. Chapters include use of helium, drugs, compression, plastic bags, starvation and other means, as well as other key resources and authoritative information on the legal position. It's comprehensive analysis and step-by-step explanation of methods of self-deliverance is far-reaching and probably unrivalled, both for the individual seeking peace of mind and for other researchers in the area. EXIT's main activity at present is researching and furthering methods of self-deliverance. There is no information on methods on this website, but the methods are generally made available to members through publications and workshops. EXIT is also very much concerned over the development of legislation that furthers its aims to ensure rights and safeguards for dying people, and provides academic analysis and criticism particularly in the areas of euthanasia, assisted suicide and living wills. EXIT's campaign work is currently limited by the availability of funding. Policy and proritization of activities is determined by the Executive, working under the Carver Model of Policy Governance. We are a not-for-profit organisation and rely on membership subscriptions, legacies and donations.
PLEASE NOTE WE ARE FLOODED WITH ENQUIRIES AND VERY SHORT
