. . .Possibly the Web's largest resource for euthanasia and rational suicide
information and informed comment.
|Welcome to Fast Access - probably the world's largest resource of original
material on voluntary euthanasia, assisted suicide, self-deliverance, living wills (advance declarations to enable you to refuse unwanted life-prolonging treatment) and related death and dying subject matter. |
This site contains hundreds of pages of material explaining the arguments for and against euthanasia. It is promoted by Exit (formerly the Scottish Voluntary Euthanasia Society), which campaigns for a change in British law to promote individual patient choice, and strategies for improved palliative care and other resources at the end of life. Exit's main priority is the responsible researching and publication of materials on self-deliverance (methods of rational suicide).
You can find details here of the most authoritative works on self-deliverance, including Departing Drugs, Beyond Final Exit, and Five Last Acts.
Exit is a world leader in research and euthanasia-related information. We run with minimal resources and are continue by means of legacies, donations and memberships. If you support our aims, please consider supporting us.
There are many v.e. campaign groups. Yet only Exit offers all these:
NEWS . . .
Our books are available through bookshops and various other online outlets.
Chapters include use of helium, drugs, compression, plastic bags, starvation and other means, as well as other key resources and authoritative information on the legal position. It's comprehensive analysis and step-by-step explanation of methods of self-deliverance is far-reaching and probably unrivalled, both for the individual seeking peace of mind and for other researchers in the area.
The Five Last Acts series are committed to data-led information on self-deliverance.
EXIT's main activity is researching and furthering methods of self-deliverance. There is no information on methods on this website, but the methods are generally made available to members through publications and full-day, hands-on workshops.
EXIT is very much concerned with legislation that furthers its aims to ensure rights and safeguards for dying people, and provides academic analysis and criticism particularly in the areas of euthanasia, assisted suicide and living wills. EXIT contributes written material and chapters to the medical and legal press including the BMJ, LexisNexis and Dartmouth.
EXIT's campaign work is limited by the availability of funding. Policy and proritization of activities is determined by delivering key benefits to those who need them in a cost-efficient and ethical manner. We are a not-for-profit organisation and rely on membership subscriptions, legacies and donations.
PLEASE NOTE WE ARE FLOODED WITH ENQUIRIES AND VERY SHORT ON STAFF AND RESOURCES - PLEASE EXPECT DELAYS OF UP TO SEVERAL WEEKS. THIS SITE IS VERY LARGE AND NOT UPDATED CONSTANTLY. FOR THE LATEST UP-TO-DATE NEWS, PLEASE SEE OUR BLOG.
Exit is an established international organisation with members worldwide and international networking on methods of self-deliverance. We are not connected to other groups of the same or similar name (such as 'Exit-DS' or 'Exit International'). Our workshops are full-day discovery workshops where members learn different techniques, make an 'exit bag' and other self-deliverance kits. They are not to be confused with seminars or promotional talks by other organisations. Our books are detailed, fully illustrated manuals with extensive data and diagrams. We draw together extensive research, feedback from ten years' of workshops, and the knowledge of other right-to-die groups worldwide. We work under a strict code of ethical conduct and use the Carver Model of Policy Governance to ensure quality and cost-efficiency in all our work, publications and services.
